Instructions
1. Prepare the Sugar Syrup:
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add cardamom powder, lemon juice, and saffron (if using).
- Let it simmer until it reaches a one-thread consistency. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. Make the Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.
- Add yogurt and mix well. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter; it should be thick but pourable.

- Cover the batter and let it rest for about 2-3 hours.
